Long Bridge Park is a 30-acre modern city park with a central expanse of attractive public green spaces and high-quality outdoor sports and recreation facilities that are accessible to all Arlingtonians.
Located at 475 Long Bridge Drive, the park features three full-size, multi-sport, lighted fields, a network of walkways, an overlook at the north end of the park with views of capital monuments, Wave Arbor — a public art feature by nationally recognized artist Doug Hollis, healthy vending machines, and a three-quarter acre rain garden. There are also two playgrounds for kids aged 2-5 and 5-12.
Long Bridge Park is within an easy walk from Bella Vista condominiums and is a great place for train, plane and bird watching. It has a raised walkway that overlooks the Reagan National Airport, Potomac River, and Roaches Run Waterfowl Sanctuary. The raised walkway also follows the train tracks which is great for train lovers.
Parking at Long Bridge Park is metered during the weekdays and there are restrooms in the park.
